Carmen Vogel

Ms. Vogel  has 25 years experience in various aspects of real estate including lease administration, transaction management, the preparation of lease documentation, offers to lease and purchase, real estate finance, database development, training and support.  With her history in most facets of real estate, Ms. Vogel is an excellent resource in managing client’s real estate data. Her strong technology skills enable her to quickly adapt to advances in real estate systems, thereby maximizing such systems to optimize processes and resource support. 

While at one of the largest real estate development companies in Canada, Ms. Vogel was a project manager for the expansion of the Toronto Convention Center; her role also required she assist in selling surplus lands, review associated lease documentation, financial reporting and executive presentations.

In 1998, Ms. Vogel led a team that re-developed a prominent commercial property in Northern Ontario. She was directly involved with the full cycle including new and renewal of tenants, preparation of lease agreements, compiling lease data, financial reporting and the ultimate sale. 

As General Manager of the largest real estate statistical firm, she developed and launched a web-based real estate system that provided the industry with the tools to gather market data and report writing tools thereby expediting communication to their clients.

Ms. Vogel has international experience and has worked with several brokerage firms in the United States including GMAC, Cendant (ERA, Coldwell Banker), Prudential and Real Living, Cushman & Wakefield, Jones Lang LaSalle. 

In recent years Ms. Vogel has focused primarily in lease administration and abstraction for three global companies with an emphasis in multi-language (English, German, Spanish/Portuguese, Dutch and French) lease abstraction as her attention to detail and quality resulted in standards higher than in country resources. 

Ms. Vogel is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is completely fluent in German and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and is currently acquiring Certification in Lease Auditing.  She has built a strong lease abstraction team to ensure regardless of project size, client needs can be addressed.
