Mae D. Papa
Director of Consulting and Project Management

Ms. Papa is currently is Director of Consulting and Project Management for Gravitas. Mae provides the following services for various clients:

• Software Consulting and Business Analysis which includes creation and review of request for proposals from software vendors and documentation of client’s business needs and assist in identifying appropriate technology solutions. Define and document business and functional requirements and assist in defining technical requirements.
• Project Management which includes creating and managing project scopes, budgets and timelines. Manage communication with stakeholders, project groups, business groups and IT. Manage communication between software programmers and clients during accounting system interface, software customization and database implementation. Manage user acceptance testing and implementation plans.
• Provide training of various lease administration systems and develop lease administration procedures manual.
• Provide special ad-hoc reports to clients as needed.
• Management of abstraction projects which includes full abstraction and verification of legal documents.
• Manage a team of consultants providing abstraction services and lease analysts providing ongoing lease portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gravitas, Ms. Papa had extensive real estate experience and software consulting experience working with Johnson Controls – Global Workplace Solutions, Exactus, Warner Bros., Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. and Westmark Harris Advisors, Inc. providing lease administration services to companies including Verizon, Chubb Insurance, Amgen and Countrywide. Ms. Papa’s lease administration background includes review and approval of lease related expenses, management of rent and space allocations, coordination of critical dates, preparing preliminary operating expense reconciliation audit analysis, abstraction of leases and owned property information, reporting and database maintenance. Ms. Papa’s software background includes implementations in Sequentra Lease Administration and Project Management Software, Tririga, Harborflex and ProLease.

In addition, Ms. Papa has worked for companies such as Alexander Howden North America, Inc, and G.J. Sullivan Company, Inc where she had held the titles of Brokerage Services Manager and Underwriting and Operations Manager respectively.

Ms. Papa’s Lease Administration Systems experience includes: Tririga, Manhattan CenterStone, Lease Harbor, Harbor Flex, ProLease, BIG e-real estate, Real Estate Manager (Strategen), Virtual Premise, Sequentra, Workplace IQ, Archibus, Fischer Real Estate Database System, and AMT.

Mae Papa graduated in 1989 from the University of California with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Some of her training also includes Lease Administration Seminar - Deloitte & Touche - April 2002; Lease Auditing Seminar - Deloitte & Touche - April 2002; Lease Administration Seminar - National Lease Advisors - March 2000.
